Practical reason why this was created

I wanted this digital space so that in 20, 30 years from now i'll be able to look through it, see the big picture, and see how i've been transforming. And be able to share the colors and lines i make with humans i meet along the way.

Poetic reason why this was created

On canvas or on screen,
in person or remote,
colors and patterns
as a trigger, a reminder
to have fun & play
to be aware of each moment & what comes with it
to live in the present
to inspire creativity, that push to get up & create,
to make the crazy move
to act free of limitations, fears, & labels
as a reminder that we contain multitudes

I used to have a monthly subscription of services like Squarespace. While they have beautiful designs and can be a quick solution, i used them almost as a shield to protect me from my fears of programming, or better said — learning how to program.

As i slowly have been putting my shield down and adventuring into the wild space of learning how to speak computer languages, i become more and more enamoured with how art-ful the entire process and programming mindset is.

To my surprise, it's actually not as hard or impossible as i thought it would be for me.

As additional benefits to gaining such superpowers, my costs have gone down since i don't have those not-so-small monthly costs, and i have this weirdly empowering autonomy to mold this digital space exactly as i image it.

It also made me appreciate soooo much any little button or shadow someone added on a page.
